It’s soon summer time and we’re longing for sea: it is the perfect time to taste a good Risotto alla pescatora.
The Risotto alla pescatora is a specialty of the Mediterranean cooking. It a first course of seafood that gathers all the flavours of the sea and a marine breeze that takes everyone to holidays. The original recipe needs fresh raw material: mainly clams and mussels, but also squids, shrimps and prawns. There are many reinterpretations of the recipe and they change according to the region. The secret to get delicious rice is to cook the rice in the broth obtained from the seafood waste.
It is an elaborate dish that requires many phases of preparation, but the final result is so good and satisfying, that you’re not going to regret it. If you don’t have the will to make it by yourself, then you can come to Marciana Restaurant and ask to our personnel for a good Risotto alla pescatora. Take a look at our menu!
