To make dishes better we love to try new and peculiar ingredients: one of them is curry spice.
Our prawns with curry sauce and rice are one of the most requested main courses at Marciana restaurant: the sauce created with this Indian spice gives a unique taste to the ingredients.
Curry is a blend coming from India (the original name would be masala) made of many different spices: black pepper, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, turmeric but also cloves, ginger, nutmeg, chili pepper, saffron and cardamom. Although the name “curry” actually describes a soup, during the Indian domination British people substituted the word from the course to the spice used to make it. It’s recommended with chicken, seafood but also with vegetables and pasta.
Marciana restaurant’s chefs are glad to offer this recipe to clients, choosing everyday the best prawns at the fish market.
