The exhibition Diversity for Peace! is coming to an end. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the Procuratie Vecchie of piazza San Marco in a different light.
On the occasion of the 58th edition of the Venice Biennale, the Procuratie Vecchie, that surround the perimeter of piazza San Marco, become the expository space for the exhibition Diversity for Peace! The ancient prosecutors’ residences host the art works of 10 young contemporary artists from all over the world in the name of the Reiwa. The Reiwa is the new Japanese era dedicate to the ideal of peace, which is based on tolerance and the acceptance of the cultural diversity. The exhibit wants to be an exchange between local and global cultures and an occasion for art to reaffirm its individuality in the standardised and dominant contest of globalisation.
You have time until the 24th of November to celebrate the Reiwa time! In the meanwhile, you can stop by Marciana Restaurant for a tasty lunch with a beautiful view on piazza San Marco. Take a look at our menu!
